REVIEW

Exquisitely constructed, this cigar boasts a cover leaf that is matte medium brown and has some mild veining. The pre ignition aroma is a mild and a welcomed barnyard of hay and dried grasses. A straight cut leads us to an unrestricted draw. This cigar was purchased The Riverman Cigar in Crestwood Missouri. Make certain you stop in and see Dan if you're in the St. Louis area.

Foot band removed, we toast/light this very anticipated cigar. Mild in nature, we see introductory notes of creamy vanilla wafer, merging well with nougat and a finish that leaves a sweet value on the mouth. Into the inch marker we see and addition of cocoa and espresso joining an already complex symphony. Also noted is a mild floral value found deep in the finish and fading quickly as the forward note takes hold.

Well into the 1/3 we note a mild+ experience that is centered on the palate and finish. Ultra rich and consistent notes crashes on a sweet and especially oily mouth. Into the 2/3 we see a spectacular burn as coins of medium flaky gray ash grow on an ultra thin ash fringe. Still consistent, we do see an additional baker's spice of cinnamon that is noted both on the taste buds and as a peppery quality.

This cigar has such an intense and magnificent finish that lasts forever. Passing the halfway point a true medium strength cigar develops as cocoa takes the main stage. Getting into the concluding 3/3 although still consistent, we see the merging of both sweet and salty on the mouth. The nub moves into medium+ as a licorice also joins the final puffs. Impeccably blended and constructed, the term premium was most likely defined from this cigar!
