Coming from the June My Monthly Cigars Box, this well constructed cigar is light in color with minimal veins and a well placed cap. The pre ignition olfactory is a bright grass/hay as we straight cut to achieve an unrestricted draw.
Around the 2 inch marker we start to move into medium as the forward notes also combine with a mineral note that drops off on the finish. The burn is perfect as a stack of grey and black ash grows on a thick and ultra dark (contrasting) ash fringe. At a medium pace we continue a rather creamy experience and pass the halfway maker with consistent notes. The finish is the focal point as an oily and salty experience converges on the mouth and pallet.
Impeccably blended and constructed, I would recommend this fantastic cigar to a mild smoker that would like to move up the strength graph.
