REVIEW
Well constructed, this cigar comes to us from the My Monthly Cigars January box (no 44). The exterior covering is medium to dark and has some prominent “raised” veins, a light tooth/model and is generally rustic/stout. With a very mild pre light aroma of cedar, we straight cut and reveal an open draw.
A toast/light and straight into some introductory notes of mild coffee and graham that collides with some raw cinnamon on the finish. The general strength is mild and is confirmed on an ultra smooth retrohale. Getting into the 1/3 we see consistency in strength and in flavor notes. The cinnamon is prominent and has a sweet value that is left on the mouth during the finish.

Into the 2/3 and a numbing feeling builds on the mouth, not unlike a strong cinnamon. The notes remain consistent as a light floral component joins the pallet. The burn is exemplary and a bright ash membrane (without stacking) grows on a super thin ash fringe.
Just passed the 1⁄2 way point and now mild+ as we see some changes in the demeanor of the experience. The cinnamon has given way to a baker's spice cousin and a clove starts to settle in. Alongside this, is the toasted graham, floral and coffee note flowing closely. Very rich on the finish and long lasting, we also note a sweet almost cinnamon heart on the finish.

Getting into the concluding portion of this cigar, the lighter graham and coffee notes are all but a dream. The forward notes are an ultra baker's spice and toasted sugar. The retrohale and finish is the pinnacle of these notes as it will finish a very well constructed and blended stick. The nub sees the most mouth and tongue numbness and is truly similar to the burn from strong cinnamon candy/gum with some late pepper coming late in the finish.
