REVIEW
This Nicaraguan puro comes to us from the April 2022 My Monthly Cigars Box. Immediately noticed is this cigar's construction, which is impressive. The wrapper is medium brown, oily and has a hairy feel. There are plenty of veins although not pronounced and a powerful prei-gnition aroma of composted manure is noted. The flawless and massive cap is topped by a pig tail and receives a straight cut. An open draw is achieved with a cold draw of cherry candy prevalent.
The paper value is almost cayenne as notes of a creamy yet toasty bread alongside the consistent Introductory notes. There Is a very distinctive and long lasting flavor on the finish of a salty iron.

Into the 2/3 and the combustion is on a role. A stacking of a light gray ash grows on a delicate and straight ash fringe. Notes of a creamy hazelnut joins the already complex profile, which only magnifies on the retro. Getting passed the ½ way marker and I have chosen to ash, not out of necessity but frankly I was worried I’d make a mess.
Still burning perfectly and with such a rich profile. The general strength and toast level has increased but only enriches the experience. The pallet is a flavor packed and has a salty and oily feel. If you don’t retro, it’s time to learn, as this is the focal point of most of these notes.

Into the concluding 3/3 and diffidently medium+. Notes of deep earth wow mingles with the toasted bread and cedar. This cigar has burned flawlessly and has a rich graph of some very interesting and rich notes alongside a super long lasting finish And burn time. The nub does see a substantial pepper increase as we ash put down a cigar that is well worth its price point.
