My Monthly Cigars Box #7 - December 2019
The December Box from My Monthly Cigars is the 7th installment of monthly cigar bliss! Is it lucky #7? We think so.
With a total MSRP of almost $42, My Monthly Cigars continues to bring constant value to club members.
And in case you need a little reminder of 2020 dates, this month we included a magnetic 2020 calendar for you to throw up on the fridge, your kegerator, or wherever you spend most of your time.
Alright, let's take a look at the December Box!
Many people like to enjoy a nice whiskey, scotch, or bourbon with their cigars (we are guilty of it!). This month we bring you a flavorful cigar that plays on that combination with the 5 Vegas Cask Strength. This box-press flavor bomb is covered in a really nice looking redish corojo wrapper and will explode with flavor notes throughout the entire cigar.
Still on a bit of a drink theme, up next we have the Diesel Hair of the Dog Limited Edition. The man behind this cigar is none other than AJ Fernandez. So its not a surprise that this cigar is so highly rated. This 90 rated gem looks great, smells great, and more importantly, tastes fantastic. The medium-full body strength brings you plenty of smooth well balanced flavors. Trust us, it tastes way better than the drink with the same name. We would have no problem lighting this puppy up in the morning with a nice cup of coffee (or whatever we decide to put in our mug.)
Up next is a cigar with a unique story. In fact, this cigar was only intended to be a private test blend and never be fully released. The La Palina Paley's Vault. They were stored in an aging room for Bill Paley to smoke whenever he visited the factory. Well, now you can pretend to be Bill Paley as they were so good they just had to be put into production. We don't know the actual blend on this cigar because its a secret. However, we do know that its origin is Nicaragua and the wrapper is a delicious corojo leaf.
The name Jose Dominguez is undeniably a strong one in the cigar industry. The cigars he produces are always aces. The Victor Sinclair 'Serie 55' Imperial Habano is no exception. You want to talk about a cigar that has some amazing flavor and uses 5 year aged tobacco, then talk about this one. From the second you light this medium-full bodied beauty up, you'll see exactly what we are talking about. Grab a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the hell out of this cigar.
