My Monthly Cigars Box #8 - January 2020
Happy New Year!
My Monthly Cigars is kicking off 2020 with a January Box that is jam packed with well known names and a ton of flavor.
Speaking of flavor, we've also thrown in a couple delicious chocolates for you to pair up with your cigars or have as a New Year's Resolution cheat treat.
You're here for the cigars, so let's dive into the January Box!
In no particular order, let's start with the Alec Bradley Tempus Nicaragua. We all know that Alec Bradley has numerous delicious cigars to choose from. We know that because we've already featured a few from their portfolio in our boxes. But where do we begin on this cigar? How about the fact that its received multiple 90+ ratings, including a 94! The size is a 5.5 x 55, also known as the Quadrum, and it boasts some of the most flavorful Nicaraguan leaves you'll find. From start to finish, you're going to realize why this cigar is as highly rated as it is.
Next up we have a collaboration that in name alone is considered a homerun. But this medium-full (to pretty full) cigar also delivers in a big way. The Monte by Montecristo AJ Fernandez is a gorgeous looking cigar to just look at. Between the band and the Ecuador Habana wrapper, you'll be rushing to get this one lit up. Flavor bomb all around. Burns great. Tastes great. Looks great. Smells great. Its just great. Don't take our word for it, its received a 90 and 91 rating already and has failed to disappoint anyone we've come across that has smoked this cigar. Sit back, relax, fire it up, and thank us later.
The Pioneer Valley Maduro is probably a cigar you have not heard of. Ok, maybe you have. How would we know? Either way, its a cigar you're going to enjoy as soon as you start smoking it. With a slick looking dark and oily Broadleaf Maduro wrapper and cuban seed long fillers, you're going to enjoy the hell out of this thing. And it's price point proves that not all cigars need to be $10+ to be good.
Rounding out the first box of the new year is a well known name in the industry that has dominated from day 1. The Camacho Corojo is a beauty, indeed. Corojo everywhere on this bad boy and it does not disappoint. Starting with a high grade Corojo wrapper leaf and filled with three different corojo long fillers, this cigar pumps out the flavor. Oh, and this is the third cigar in the January box that has received a 90+ rating. Light yours up and drift away to the flavorful and relaxing land or Corojo.
